View Full Version : unknown fish
kids picked up this strange fish remains . can anyone tell me what it is please?
its about 14 " long but could be longer as there was no tail. all its underside was eaten. its head was snake like shaped with an upward mouth,i thought it may have been some sort of lumpsucker but cant find anything similar on net. it has skin rather than scales.

Hi, its a lumpfish but we know them as a coalfish quite common up here and love fast flowing water and stick to the rocks with their sucker
