looking at the front page to this site the other day, there is going to be a fishing competition off the piers at scrabster harbour on sunday (11th april).
fancy giving it a go but what baits would i need there and what am i liable to catch? please bear in mind i ain't a serious person at fishing, just do it for fun which is what the competition sounds like it is going to be.

only 3 fish were caught, all off the end of the old ola pier, all flatties.
in size they were 18cm, 22cm and 35 cm.
all were returned alive as the match was catch and release.
it was a good afternoon for not a lot of money and there were more kids than adults which was good to see.
me?....... all i caught was a crab....... :confused
never mind, next time maybe
