View Full Version : People Making Out In A Pub

zebedy
14-Mar-10, 02:49
Personally is totally off putting no matter how many drams you've had. Was with a few of my friends in the pub tonight, And there was this middle aged couple. Well to me I would call them a little under old but never mind that.

They sat and made out the whole night and once enough customers had complained about it they were told to knock it off. This happened twice.

They stayed until closing unfortunately. But as the little under old man left he made rude gestures to the bar staff.

So i've made this post really in the hope he is on the Org and he reads this and realises that he is the most vulgar immature disgusting hideous macho wannabe bell end I've come across in the pub in a while.

Do yourself a favour and drop the macho bull spit mate. Doesn't suit you, Just like your sweater :confused

I am not sure what "making out" would entail in youth talk, but I have always found people showing amorous affections in public, repulsive.:(

Apart from the meet and greet and the customary peck on the cheek, such activities ought to be kept private.

Whats wrong with that if there in love and there happy let them go for it its no different to going out onto the main street and seeing a couple of teens doing the same thing. If you think thats bad you should try going to a social club after bingo and sometimes you see pensioners "making out" lol and it just goes to show that your never to old to make out
Just think zebedy mabey in another 40 years time you might be into the bingo nights and you might end up "making out" if your lucky enough to pull another pensioner?

I was out in Aberdeen a few weeks ago and there were two highly attractive women playing tonsil hockey. There was even a bit of bum grabbing going on. I just couldnt look away, its like every time I did some invisible force pulled my eyes back onto their, quite frankly .. awesome, PDA.

Lesbians .. God Bless 'em .. :)

I personally am not bothered at all by this kind of thing, its not the 1950's after all. I dont even mind two guys in the bar or club going at it, at the end of the day it means two less competitors for the women.

There is just no need for it standing right at the bar of a busy pub.
The point is customers were complaining about it and without going into too much detail it wasn't just tongues, there were hands going where there shouldn't really be going in a pub.

Regardless of however old the people doing it were, it's still not very nice for other customers or the staff, and to top it all off, the guy thought he was some kind of hard-as-nails type when being told to cut it out as there were customers complaining. Yet more alcohol induced male bravado nonsense. Tit.

There's nowt wrong with people smooching, or whatever you want to call it, in public. Those offended by it obviously have some problem with repressed emotions. What's wrong with displaying how you feel, I bet that couple have less stress and lead happier lives because they don't have pent up feelings.

i dont think its the snog or the sly hand on bum thats a prob. its when you basically have dry sex in public that it gets to much. i dont care who you are how much you have had to drink.. if you want to hump someone.. find a dark corner or alley way if you cant make it home! as far as i know public indecency is still a crime. and you can be arrested for it. im 33 now and hubby is hitting 39 and we still hold hands, give a quick kiss and he will grab a bum cheek when he thinks he can get away with it and not get slapped... but thats about as vouyer like as i get! *G* remember the old saying.. get a room? well it does still apply! *Grins*

There is nowt wrong with a kiss in public or whatever. When there is clearly crotch-stroking going on and customers are being out off their drinks because of it then there is a problem.
There is just no need to "dry-hump" in a pub.
Like someone else stated, go find an dark alley-way or get a room, it's not difficult.

Repressed emotions? What tripe!

It's just an opinion shared, As stated before by someone else... The friendly kiss here and there isn't to be frowned upon, The fact of the matter this couple sat at the bar getting quite 'jiggy' with various of customers moving away from them, And once to told to knock it off they just moved away to another location in the bar and it got even more ridiculous with more complaints being thrown at the bar staff to deal with. My rant wouldn't have been induced if the little under old man hadn't have thrown the abundance of cheek he did when he left the pub.

This thread was produced really because they're was a whole lot of complaining going on about them in the pub from all directions and I felt sorry for the bar staff having to put up with it really.

Yes, I'm happy for the couple in being happy in a relationship, Congratulations to them imo.

I've also seen and dealt with enough Male Bravado in my time. Alcohol and a-holes do not mix very well. ;)

telfordstar
14-Mar-10, 14:18
Maybe a simple solution to this problem would be if you dont like it turn away or better still go to another pub! It may be a shame for the staff but at the end if the day its a bar they work in and as was said before alcohol and s dont mix well. Id say that problem goes with the job so to speak.

Well I suppose when it comes to "luv" or perhaps lust, there are no age limits. We can of course look away when something distasteful is going on around us but judging by the antics of this couple, that would have been hard to do. Behaving like this in a public place can be really embarrasing for others. There is a time and place for everything. I personally would have left rather than spectate but for some the sheer shock at what's going on seems to root them to the spot.;)

I agree but just because the guy gets aggressive that's no reason to allow him to get his way. In fact he needs to know that aggressive behavior weill not be tolerated aspecially in pub where drink fueled emotions are high.

There's smooching and there's thinking that the person your with's face has just turned into the best meal that could cure your drunken munchies. They were full on eating each other's faces and it was minging.

Alot of people say what's wrong with it because there's no law and they're showing affection? What if I started to itch my "genital region" with full on hand down pants (in a very violent manner) because the itch was so bad in front of you in the pub? You'd think it was wrong.....
