A weakened team through illness and injury on the day saw the boys lose 3-1 to Fraserburgh in a very skillful and entertaining game. They went 1-0 down to an unlucky scrappy goal then lost a second in the last minute of the first half. They got straight back in to the game with a goal after 10 minutes of the second half and were pressing for an equaliser when caught by a counter attack which resulted in a well taken third goal for the Broch who then comfortably held out to secure victory.
The boys played very well and did themselves, their folks and the school proud.

Tried very hard, but unfortunately Wick High lost 3-1 against Fraserburgh.
Supporters from Wick were fantastic with their cheering and encouragement.

Shame to hear this, but they are still winners getting this far. This was only the 3rd time wick high has went this far in 30 years. well done boys.
