Still looking for the John Sinclair who married my Katharine MORE b 1741.
Marriage: 11 Oct 1760 Wick.
"John Sinclair in Thrumster was Mat Cont to Katharine Moir in Gansclat. Harie Sinclair in Ragra for the man and Andrw Moir in Gansclat for his daughter."
Could JOHN be either C110432 John b 1731 to JAMES or John b 1732 to Henry - NB Harie or Henry was a wit at John's marriage 1760.
Sinclair Children found to John and Kath are Emilia 1761 James 1764 Andrew 1767 John 1769 and Alexander 1772.. I haven't as yet viewed actual certs for children.
Katharine's father Andrew Moir(More Moor) was married to Anne/Agnes Levach in Nov 1737 Wick and was family lived in Thrumster/Gansclet area .
The other early SINCLAIR - MORE marriage I have is the well documented 1744 Margaret More(McKay?) to David Sinclair (son of David of Broynach).
