#1 & #2 are good,nicely framed and sharp.
Looking at #3 you would think it was taken by a different person, its so bad compared to the first 2.There's just nothing of interest in it.Whites look overexposed,as are the stones on the dyke of the last one.

Look what you said earlier about expressing personal opinons about others photos!

Perhaps i should be more honest and tell the next person who posts a bland photo with non existent contrast that i dont like skies that look like a washed out old grey teeshirt.

It would just be a simple expression of personal(and reasonable) preference and one i'm sure i could freely express without fear of criticism in return..................yeah right

Thanks for the critique MPH.
Just goes to show that what appeals to one eye does n't always to another.
I just loved the angles and reflections in the pool but then very often things catch my eye that others would overlook.

Dont know exactly what point your trying to make.
As i stated previously I dont normally make negative comments but the above statement is pretty self explanatory i thought.

It does say "perhaps i should be more honest",well i have been.Do you have a problem with that?

I dont have a problem with that at all, that was the point I was trying to make, I thought, from the ' .........yeah..... right!' that you did - I understood from your earlier comments that you objected strongly to people leaving negative comments. Perhaps I misunderstood

Happy Guy,I object to negative comments based purely on a personal dislike of someones style.

Constructive critisism is another matter altogether, nothing wrong in giving negative comments that point out someone has got their exposure settings wrong or the perspective
or viewpoint of their shot could be improved
Just telling someone that you dont like this or that based on personal preference isnt being constructive or helpfull to anyone.
