Nothing near comparing to the quality of photos you lot are taking,but im a keen learner so heres some photos i took earlier today and thought i would share,tips on how to improve these(without buying a better camera)

the foreground seems to be acceptable but the background very bright?i have adjusted the over-exposure on photoshop but adjusting to much makes it look blue.....?am i possibly doing something wrong with the midtone?any advice appreciated :)

I'm still learning myself Upolian so maybe not the best qualified to give advice but what I would say is that you have your camera on the wrong settings for the scenes you are taking
the compostion is almost there, you have foreground interest in most but horizons need straightening in a couple
what type of camera are you using compact or dslr? if the latter try taking RAW photos instead of jpgs, as this gives much more scope for altering the original image

cheers for the advice,taken on board im a noobie to be honest but like taking photos [lol] its actually a 3year old 1,2 megapixel camera phone im using:lol: will be getting a digital camera at some point in the near future:D
