A wee boy drew a wee picture so canny
With pencils,crayons and paper
For he drew what he believed was right
Of which in this ditty I'll tell ye later
To sit at a table with artistic will
And draw a soldier holding a poppy
With a wee biy smiling across from ye
Drawing away and making a copy
For pride is in the beholder they say
And for that I can understand
For to cherish every day ye can
For the time ye have left in hand
Some folk are what they want to be
Their kids are so much to them
Ye think school is an important tool
To make strong women and men
No,stop,a wee minute,just for a while
Yer kids eyes are open all day
What they see is what they get
To mature in a positive way;)
