Great shots Lizz. Never been to Loch More in winter.
Have tried but never made it. Was there much wildlife. Lots of Red deer and Grouse last time my friends were there.

Pair of very confused Whoopers who could n't find open water but finally settled on the river, red deer, heron, buzzards and sparrowhawk were about all we logged kas.

That certainly looks cold LIZZ, some great shots there.

I wonder what is the purpose of the staggered stones on the fish ladder/overflow, could it be to break up the strong current to allow the Salmon to pass through.
