The siren blast from up above
The air was dank and shredded
For the button had been finally pushed
The moment that had been dreaded
The burning of skin and total vapourise
The eyes full of tears unended
For a word had been uttered flippantly
And the man had been offended
The kids running screaming to their maws
For a cuddle to reasure
Their small wee hands black as coal
The pain that they did endure
Then silence,all throughout the land
The smokeclouds all a glimmer
For they knew that this time life was done
And there widnae be a winner
The air was dank and shredded
For the button had been finally pushed
The moment that had been dreaded
The burning of skin and total vapourise
The eyes full of tears unended
For a word had been uttered flippantly
And the man had been offended
The kids running screaming to their maws
For a cuddle to reasure
Their small wee hands black as coal
The pain that they did endure
Then silence,all throughout the land
The smokeclouds all a glimmer
For they knew that this time life was done
And there widnae be a winner
